THE CALMING SPACE
When was the last time you stopped and did nothing, even for a few moments? Today’s world is a maelstrom of noise and activity, things are constantly demanding our attention, adding themselves to our ever-growing to-do lists, and while some of these are urgent, plenty can wait. While we try to keep pace with the world’s needs, we miss so much, by slowing down we can take in so much more. When was the last time you felt truly calm? Can you picture it, feel it? Where were you? What were you doing? What sounds, smells and sights can you recall from that time? How did you feel?
