Day 20: Happiness

CHASING HAPPINESS

Happiness is one thing that is almost impossible to define. It doesn’t mean wealth or health or family or success, and yet all these things can bring us happiness.  Happiness is not just a feeling though, but a state of mind. It is a combination of positive thinking, optimism, being present and fulfilment in life, work and love.

Today, use your journal to ask some questions. Why I am not happy? Write down as many reasons as you can think of. And then, ask another question: When was I last happy? Look at your answers to both questions together, read them out loud, does this provide the starting point for uncovering the key to your own personal idea of happiness?
