As we move through life, it’s easy to be distracted by our own problems, struggles and insecurities. They can take over our thoughts and our interactions and we can sympathise with ourselves because we feel these difficulties so acutely. But it’s important to remember that everyone is fighting their own battle, and that a moment of kindness at the right time can be the turning point in someone’s day. Our actions – both big and small – affect the world in so many ways.
For today’s journaling can you think of a time someone showed you an unexpected kindness, how did this make you feel? And how did it affect your day? Can you use this reflection to inspire you to make random acts of kindness in your life right now?
