What we have

As we navigate busy lives it is easy to forget just how much we have and to focus on what is missing. This problem is exacerbated by social and modern media when we are encouraged to compare lives and find ours wanting. And yet gratitude is one of the cornerstones of contentment. When we stop and realise how much we have, we stop wanting so much.

For today’s challenge, write a list of everything you are truly grateful for, from people in our lives, things that help us along our way to opportunities and experiences that some can only dream of. Read over the list and let it stay with you – appreciate how fortunate you are to have so much and see if there is any way you can share your good fortune.
