Moza Chair, POA

Designed by Dubai duo Jumana Taha and Mentalla Said, the Moza Chair is a dramatic high-backed chair, made from solid African teak, leather and traditional Emirati Sadu fabric. Inspired by the local weaving process, the exaggerated timber spindles in the back are stretched as strings are on the loom, while the Sadu fabric is displayed as a film strip surrounding the base of the seat and edge of the seat cushion, to emphasise the storytelling patterns of the fabric.
