Period. End of Sentence (2018)

When a group of American high school students found out that several women in a small village in India had been stigmatised for having periods, they sent the village a low-cost, biodegradable pad-making machine. This simple act, showcased in this short film which won an Academy Award, aims to remind us that, no matter where we are, we can all make a difference.
